Veritas Instrument Rental (VIR)
Vanguard Arts Center is happy to offer high quality instrument rentals through Veritas Instrument Rentals!
Ways to rent:
Ship To Home: Place an order through the Rent From Home website and have your instrument shipped directly to your home or office!
Store Pickup: Place an order through the Rent From Home website and pickup in store to our location here in Chantilly!
Rent In Store: Come to our store location at 14155-J Sullyfield Circle and complete the registration process in person.
Get a free lesson with your rental!
If you rent an instrument online or in person, you are eligible for a FREE 30 minute trial lesson - a $45 value! Sign up online after placing your rental order, or in person when picking up your instrument.
Rent to Own
All instruments are rent to own, meaning all rental payments go towards the purchase of the instrument. Once you have met the terms needed to acquire ownership of the rented instrument, it’s yours to keep!

Wood Clarinet, Student Open Hole Flute, Alto & Soprano Saxophone, Baritone Horn/Euphonium
Group 3
Student Oboe, Bass Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone, Trombone with F Attachment, Single French Horn
Repairs
Bell dented? Keys not playing? Slide stuck?
No matter the damage, you can bring your instrument back to our store to be repaired for free! Students will receive a loaner instrument to use while their instrument is being repaired.
Customer’s who have opted out of LDW insurance coverage may request a repair quote.
Returns
Easy cancellations!
To return your rental instrument, please bring it back to our store during business hours (weekdays 1-6pm) to end your rental subscription.
Exchanges
Switching or upgrading instruments
Receive up to 6 months of rental credit when you switch to a new instrument, or between 12-24 months when upgrading to an intermediate instrument. To exchange your rental instrument, please call 703-890-0444 so we can make sure we have your desired instrument in stock and order if needed.

Nope - If you have any questions about the program, are having trouble with the Rent From Home portal, or just prefer to sign up in person, you can complete the entire rental process at our store in Chantilly!

Veritas offers free instrument repairs - just bring your instrument to our store location, and pick up a loaner instrument to use while your instrument is being repaired.

We have a selection of band instrument accessories such as reeds, cleaning swabs, and music stands available for sale. If you choose to pick up your instrument in store, we can help you in store get you fitted with any accessories you need to have a successful year in band class!

Once your instrument is ready to be picked up, you will receive an email to the email address you entered during the Rent From Home checkout process. Please check your spam folder if you do not see a pickup email.

We currently offer clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet, and percussion lessons here at Vanguard. Rental of any of these instruments comes with a free trial lesson! Give us a call at (703) 890-0444 if you have any questions or are ready to sign up.
